This snap is an heirloom of Amish communities, grown for generations before snap peas were popularized by newer varieties.  Tall vines grow to 5-6' and set good yields of 3" pods for about six weeks if kept picked.  Juicy and tasty, with a deeper flavor than newer varieties like Sugar Snap, even when pods fill out.  Requires trellising for support.  Delicious raw or in a stir fry.
