Phaseolus vulgaris
Graines de Cafe Bean is a rare dry pole bean that, at a glance, resembles coffee beans! A rich dark brown color and quite large and round; these beans are quite beautiful. Introduced to the US by bean collector extraordinaire Russ Crow, via Austria. Very productive vines were some of the earliest and most prolific dry beans in our garden. Perfect for shorter seasons. Good flavor and excellent for baked beans or chili!
