Sicilian Godfather is a large (sometimes huge!) heirloom Italian beefsteak that can reach 2lbs in a good tomato summer. Thin skin bruises easily, so you won't find this tomato in the market. It's strictly a garden-to-table luxury! Rich tomato flavor perfect for either sandwiches or sauces. Meaty flesh with few seeds, and near blemish-free fruit. This was one of the last tomatoes to ripen in my zone 6a garden, extending the harvest when most of the other beefsteaks had finished up.
