Rare heirloom beefsteak tomato named for a man who reportedly disliked tomatoes.  Large, slightly ribbed, deep red fruits are sweet and flavorful, though tender skin ensures this tomato will never be found in a grocery store.  Heavy producer of 8-24 oz fruit.  One of the best tasting heirloom beefsteaks, but quite rare due to its delicate nature.  Of course when you grow it in your own garden, it only has to make it as far as the kitchen!
