Also known as Hokkaido, this squash is one of Japan's traditional vegetables.  A brightly colored tear-drop shaped squash with rich, sweet chestnut flavor favored by the finest chefs!  Vigorous vines set 2-3 fruit each even in cooler weather and shorter growing seasons.  Excellent flavor and creamy texture in pies, soups, and roasted wedges.
