This is the first landrace tomato that we selected for our short season and cool weather at Moose Ridge Wilderness School in the western Maine mountains.  These tomatoes grow each summer just feet from balsam pines in our sub-boreal climate, and produce loads of round, uniform, three inch tomatoes that keep coming till frost.  The flavor is good and tomato-y, makes a good sauce or ketchup, and also fine for slicing.
