Golden Acre is popular for a reason:  it grows fast and takes up very little space for a cabbage.  This variety has been around since the 1920's, and produces 5-7" medium-green heads.  Thrives in cool weather.
Sweet, tender, and deliciously buttery when cooked.  Doesn't keep particularly long, so use it up as you harvest, making sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, coleslaw, and tasty stir-fries!
