This clever lettuce is both cold hardy and heat tolerant, making it the perfect choice for growing all year!  Soft, buttery leaves are sweet and crunchy and slow to get bitter and bolt in the summer heat.  Much more tolerant of stress and poor soils than other lettuces.  It's also hardy enough to be grown all winter (under cover in more northern climes).  Great for lettuce wraps!  Harvest the whole head at once, or just the outer leaves for cut-and-come-again.
